Laura Jane Flores, known to everyone as Jane or Jayni, was born Sept. 30, 1951 in Portales, to the home of Cecilia (Baros) and Miguel Antonio Flores, and died Jan. 11, 2018 in Portales. Dr. Flores was a 1968 graduate of Portales High School. Following graduation, she attended Eastern New Mexico University, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Education and Bi-lingual Education.
